International Coastal Cleanup 2013 in Uruguay

The Clean Up was organized in the provinces of Colonia, San José, Montevideo, Canelones, Maldonado y Rocha, whose coast belongs to the Río de La Plata.

1,100 people participated in the event and 4,531 kilos of trash were collected. Objects were mainly related to:

Objects related to food (plastics, packaging, bags)

 Objects related to packaging (foam, plastic)

Objects related to smoking
