Ocean Conservancy began its mission to fight for healthy oceans in 1972. Since then, the organization has grown significantly. Since 1986, Ocean Conservancy has coordinated the International Coastal Cleanup, and millions of volunteers have participated in the efforts around the world.

The photos below are from last year's efforts in Mexico. Volunteers included students and corporate sponsored events.

The International Coastal Cleanup (ICC), organized by Ocean Conservancy, has many volunteer opportunities.
